Details about me and my Financial Advice Provider
Becky Wang is a Financial Adviser. Full name: Xiaojie Wang. Address: Room 1, Level 2, 3 William Laurie Place, Albany. Phone: 021 180 6687. Email: Becky.Wang@aplusfinance.co.nz. FSPR number: 1003147.
Name of Financial Advice Provider: A Plus Finance Limited. Trading as: A Plus Finance Limited. FSPR number: 1003233. Financial Advice Provider address: 3A Rae Road, Campbells Bay, Auckland, 0620, New Zealand. A Plus Finance Limited is a member of NZ Financial Services Group Limited.
Licensing information
The Financial Advice Provider is authorised to provide a financial advice service under a current financial advice provider licence issued by the Financial Markets Authority in the name of NZ Financial Services Group Limited. FSPR number: 286965.
Nature and scope of my advice
Becky can help clients choose and apply for a loan that is suitable for their purpose from a panel of lenders. Once a lender and loan terms are chosen, she can help clients obtain an approval and may also help maintain a loan, for example by assisting with re-fixing.
The financial products Becky can advise on are home loans, investment loans, and construction loans.
Lenders and third parties I use
The current lender and third-party panel includes ANZ, Westpac, BNZ, ASB, PROSPA, ASAP Finance Limited, Avanti Finance, Cressida Capital, DBR, First Mortgage Trust, Liberty Financial Limited, Unity, Pepper Money, SBS Bank, The Co-operative Bank, Bank of China (New Zealand) Limited, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (New Zealand) Limited, Kiwibank, CFML, Basecorp Finance, General Finance, BIZCAP, Pallas Capital, Funding Partners, Midlands Funds Management, Finbase, Xceda, ScotPac, Welcome, Lendr, Blossum, Velocity, Cotality, and Akahu.
Referral partners and other services
Becky can help clients access other services through referral partners where this may make the process easier. She is not able to give advice on the products those referral partners offer, and has not checked whether they can meet a client's specific needs. Clients are free to use other providers or undertake their own research.
Referral partners may include Tower F&G, Initio F&G, Asset Finance, Koura Wealth, UK Pension Transfers, XE Money, Heartland Bank, and Avanti Referrer. Becky is unable to offer legal or tax advice and recommends clients consult a solicitor or accountant for that advice.
Fees and expenses
Generally, clients will not be charged fees for the financial advice provided. This is usually possible because, on settlement of a loan, the lender pays commission to Becky. Exceptions may apply where there is no commission, or where commission must be repaid because a loan is fully or partially repaid or materially changed within the relevant clawback period.
If a one-off fee applies, it would be agreed and authorised in writing before services are completed. For commission clawback, the fee is generally no more than $3,000 plus GST, if any, calculated at $250 plus GST per hour, and will not exceed the amount of commission that needs to be repaid to the lender. Clients will be invoiced and given 30 days to pay.
Some lenders may charge an adviser fee that is capitalised into the loan. Refer to the PDF for the full lender fee tables.
Commissions and incentives
On settlement of a loan, a lender usually provides Becky with a commission payment. This may include upfront commission, ongoing commission, and fixed-rate roll-over fees if Becky assists with refixing. Becky may also receive referral fees, commission payments, incentives, or rewards from lenders or referral partners.
Conflicts of interest are managed by following an advice process focused on client needs and goals, ensuring loan amounts match identified needs, providing commission and fee tables, and undertaking regular training on managing conflicts of interest.
Other conflicts of interest
The disclosure states there are no current conflicts of interest, except that a fee may be paid if Becky facilitates or refers a client to Koura Wealth Limited and the client joins the Koura KiwiSaver Scheme. NZ Financial Services Group Limited holds a partial ownership in Koura Wealth Limited and may benefit from growth in that scheme.
